Specific topics to be explored include how and why the Gold Standard evolved and ended; exchange rates and currency fluctuations; impacts on inflation; how the IMF manages financial crises faced by nations; how the role of the World Bank has evolved since the Marshall Plan; and cryptocurrencies—then and now.
